Hi everyone! My name is Amy and I am one of the owners and Licensed Massage Therapists (LMT # 6548) at Health Art Massage. We are so excited to help expand the availability of massage therapy in Leeds, AL! I graduated from the Birmingham School of Massage in June 2024, and must say that becoming a massage therapist is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has proven to be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers I have ever had.
Massage helps me feel my clients needs with my hands and heart as well as listening. Massage provides healing through touch and can be very powerful, and I believe it heals far more than muscle discomfort. Trauma and emotions can be stored in our tissue and muscles for years. With my experience in energy work as well as working in healthcare and the service industry, I am able to understand and empathize with others on a deeper level.
I love to help resolve issues that people have held on to through a “whole person” approach. We are all seeking a better version of ourselves and I would be honored if you would allow me to help you accomplish this goal by letting go of things that do not serve a positive purpose and by just feeling great after your massage session!
